Download Certificate

 

*If you are using FireFox, please complete the steps below and visit the library.

 

Mac

1)        Click the link for “Download Certificate” above

2)        Visit your downloads folder on your laptop and double click the “Fortigate_CA_SSLProxy.cer” that you just downloaded. If there are more than one, pick the one with the largest number on the end.

3)        Put in your laptop password

4)        If prompted, select “Always Trust”, hit Apply and put in your laptop password again.

5)        Scroll down the list to FortiGate CA. There may be more than one. Make sure they all have a blue + symbol next to them. If they do, you are done. If they have a red X, continue on.

6)        Right click each “FortiGate CA” that has a red X and hit “Get Info”.

7)        Click the arrow next to “Trust” and in the first option box, change it from “Use System Defaults” to “Always Trust”.

8)        Hit the red “close” button on the top left and input your laptop password and hit “Update Settings”.

 

Windows

1)        Click the link for “Download Certificate” above

2)        Visit your downloads folder on your laptop and double click the “Fortigate_CA_SSLProxy.cer” that you just downloaded. If there are more than one, pick the one with the largest number on the end.

3)        Hit “Install Certificate”

4)        Choose the option to “Place all certificates in the following store.” Then hit the Browse button, select “Trusted Root Certification Authorities” and hit OK.

5)        Click Next and Finish.

6)        You will get an “import successful” message or you may need to say “yes” to a security dialogue box.
